This was the third year of a new tradition where I cook short ribs on Christmas Day for my family as opposed to doing a turkey/ham like we used to! Tried a bit of a different recipe this time but was happy with how they turned out! Served over mash and the bok choy on the side was just because we were all craving vegetables after eating so indulgently the days prior (don’t worry, I know it’s weird on the plate) 😅 [link] [comments] |

This week’s special had Home ground chuck smash patties, American cheese, a quick sweet and spicy red onion jam (red onions cooked with my maple jalapeño sauce), lettuce, pickles, pork belly, and my maple Mustard lime sauce. My wife’s had lettuce, tomato, pickles, and the same sauce. [link] [comments] |

Made some homemade pizza today. Tested out a different recipe. 700 grams caputo flour 400 grams cold water 1 gram dry yeast 17 grams salt 20 grams olive oil Mix till a smooth ball, let it rest for 30/60 minutes and divide into small balls. I made 300 gram dough balls for a bit bigger pizza. [link] [comments] |
