I recently started a new and overheard our CRNP talking about “going home” for a week shortly. I asked where that was (I could tell she was from Africa, but I didn’t know which part) and she said Nigeria. Well….being a fat kid who loves food from around the world, my first question was if I could have her jollof recipe. She was shocked that fat white dude from the coal region of PA knew about jollof rice and that I was team Nigeria in that war. Her answer was a hard no on the recipe, but she promised to hook me up with some when she makes it from now on. Today, I was given several of these disposable containers full of jollof rice with chicken to “hold you over until I get back”. GOD!
