[homemade] tried my first beef Wellington today. [homemade] tried my first beef Wellington today.

[homemade] tried my first beef Wellington today.

Went great! Not the prettiest picture though...

Had some trouble with the first part of the recipe (rolling the mushrooms and cured ham around the beef),I thought I was heading toward a small disaster but it ended ok when I rolled the pastry (not homemade). I should definitely try to roll that tighter though.

Chopping the mushrooms was a pain! 2kg, took me around 1h30...

Coked for 30 minutes at 200 Celsius until meat was at 35 Celsius right in the middle. I then let it rest outside the oven for around 20 minutes and it went up to 55, I cut the meat at that point and it was quite to my taste!

Best part : I did 1.5kg and there's leftover for tonight!
